During the production of Panetti, just like preparing the pastry of a cake, Panetti’s paste is also prepared. The main material and supplementary materials are homogenously mixed in a mixer according to its formula. This paste prepared is then put into the moulds and baked under the pressure of 2 Tons and at 170 Cº for approximately 30 minutes. The production ends with blowing up of the material by using the instant cooling method. Owing to this procedure, the unique cell structure of Panetti is formed.

The cell structure of Panetti, as the New Generation Insulation Material, is Cross Linked and Closed. Cross Linked Cells, created with the blowing up of the material during the production phase, do close by absorbing the air we breathe during the cooling period.

Panetti Insulation Materials, owing to the Cross Linked Closed Air Cells contained in the material, have high level of insulation ability. They do not contain any chemical gases, like the other insulation materials, is also not harmful to the human health.

The internal structure of Panetti Insulation Material, as monitored by Izmir Institute of Technology (IYTE) Material Research Center (MAM), has a homogenous sequencing.

According to the results of the monitoring, conducted by IYTE MAM with a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), 40 million Cross Linked Closed Air Cells are contained inside 1 m² of our product coded PN2.5 that has a thickness of 2.5 mm. It was determined by Izmir Institute of Technology Material Research Center that 80 million Cross Linked Closed Air Cells are contained inside PN5, our product with a thickness of 5 mm, whereas approximately 128 million Cross Linked Closed Cells are contained inside our product coded PN8 that has a thickness of 8 mm.

According to the results of the calculations again performed by IYTE MAM, the dimensions of the closed air cells, which constitute the structure of Panetti, were determined as 1/10 of a Head of a Pin.

New Generation Insulation Material Panetti, is produced as a wedge with a 40 mm thickness. Every Panetti product actually constitutes a section of the main product since it can then be reduced to the thicknesses of 2.5 mm – 5 mm and 8 mm by splitting. It is because of this condition; it can be seen that the surfaces of the Panetti products, when examined by using a Normal Microscope, is actually not smooth but, conversely, has a porous texture like a Pumice Stone.

This uneven surface, just like the appearance of a pumice stone, is actually composition of the Cross Linked Close cells that are separated from the middle. Even though, the adhesion of the Panetti products to a surface or adaptation of another material on the top seems like impossible at a first glance, the adhesives and plastering materials can adsorb very easily on the top of the products because of their uneven surfaces.

  • It does not react with acid and chemical materials and it has a high strength value.
  • It can be manufactured in different colors and different sizes according to the project details.
  • It can provide 60% heat savings.
  • It can provide sound insulation up to 40%.
  • Its capillary water absorption ratio is zero. It is not affected by the water and dampness.
  • It cannot be digested by pesticides and harmful insects.
  • It is not affected by temperature differences occurring in the application areas.
  • It can last without losing its volume, like its original state, in the application areas for many years.
  • It has a relaxing effect for the spaces, in which standing for a long time is necessary, while working.
  • It does not have electric conductivity; it is an entirely nonconductive material.
  • It saves from time and labor costs because of its ease of application.
  • It can be suitable for every type of architectural detail.
  • It can easily be applied with any type of adhesive or dowels.
